No person, firm or corporation shall keep or harbor within the city any domestic animal or animals such as horses, mules, asses, cattle, swine, sheep, goats or other livestock other than dogs and cats; provided, however, that for the purpose herein, keeping and harboring shall not include temporary custody of any such animals while held under the order of a licensed veterinarian for the purpose of treatment, and be it further provided that the same shall not pertain to such animals while in the process of transporting by ordinary and customary means.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to allow any chickens or other domestic fowl to run at large in the city.
