Any residential commercial, or other dwelling designed for human occupancy within the city shall have affixed thereto the address number of the dwelling as designated by the city and displayed prominently in such a fashion as to be readily visible from the street with a minimum size of the numbers being three inches in height.

Failure of the owner of any such dwelling to comply with the provisions of this section when directed to do so by an official or employee of the city shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined an amount not exceeding $25 for each and every day of noncompliance.
